For our 4 Star Hotel in Sestriere we are looking for:

 

MAÎTRE

The candidate, reporting directly to the director of the facility, will have to:

  • Organize work shifts,
  • Manage the restaurant hall ensuring high quality service and mise en place,
  • Check table turnover,
  • Coordinate the management of orders at the tables and the sale of drinks and wines at the hotel with a la carte restaurant service,
  • Manage the wine cellar,
  • Organize bar service at the counter and at the table,
  • Manage banquets and events,
  • Monitor costs and revenues for the bar and restaurant department.

Required:

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in the role in well-structured and medium-sized hotels
  • Excellent knowledge of English, and preferably of a second language,
  • Flexibility to work on shifts with a spirit of responsibility and team play

The candidate, reporting directly to the department manager, must deal with:

  • service in the a la carte and buffet restaurant

RECEPTION SECRETARIES

The resource will be included in the Reception Team and will mainly deal with:

  • Welcoming guests
  • Check in / check out
  • Front and back office operations related to the customer's stay in the hotel
  • Checking the room rates of the stay, the consumption of food/drinks and / or charges for the purchased services
  • Entering reservations in the system
  • Cash and closing operations
  • Promoting the sale of on-site services to guests
  • Sending quotes

Required:

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in the role in well-structured hotels
  • Fluent knowledge of English and at least of another foreign language
  • Excellent knowledge of the main hotel software and office suite

MAINTENANCE / SHUTTLE SERVICE MANAGER

The resource, reporting to the hotel manager, will mainly:

  • coordinate and manage issues related to the maintenance of rooms, common areas, bars and kitchens
  • Manage external suppliers and technicians
  • Always keep the warehouse up to date with spare parts
  • Carry out the shuttle service to and from the skilifts with shifts to be defined with the director
  • Daily check and maintain the hotels spa and swimming pool

  • Stock control and warehouse replenishment
  • Cleaning and care of the bar and cafeteria ambience, ensuring maximum hygiene
